it has been our local circuit's two day assembly this weekend.
it takes place at bristol assembly hall.
from what i recall seating capacity is about 1200. .
IF I could, I would like to go to a DC and carry around a sign that says "Please, keep your zipper zipped" or "No cleavege, please" or something like that...just wear that blank look and carry the sign, in hand, about.
I think this would be a fun way to spend a few hours.....

i so loved the post of the kitten the other day.
i checked-out this week and drank three bottles of gin, even though i stopped in toto four months ago, my wife is out of town.
please do not post anything about counseling here as i have tried that and am on lots of meds.

in order to understand who the lord of lords is, some groundwork on god being one needs to be established as biblical truth.
if the bible in deuteronomy says that god is one, and that hes the lord of lords, then would it make sense to say if there were two lord of lords, then one of them would have a lord that he wasnt the lord over?.
if the two lord of lords were equal, then they both would have a lord which doesnt make sense and contradicts the bible about god-jehovah being just one lord of lords.

well, i just wanted to share our special day with you guys too , because you folks have become close like family to us !
for mrs. flipper and myself being in our late 40's, early 50's, with all the challenges we had over the years before we met, being with the wrong people who took advantage of our kindness when we were both in other relationships , we truly do feel it is a miracle that her and i finally found each other later in life and found real happiness in a marriage.

my mom is disfellowshipped ... she works as a bank teller.
one of my old friends from high school who went to my congregation went by my mom's window and they talked for a while.
somehow she had her mom call my mom and they even offered to let mom and me visit their vacation home.

what's the most controversial halloween costume that you can remember seeing?
i saw one last year that a friend of mine wore last year - it was the entire catholic priest outfit - but had one major change - there was a young boy in a baseball cap wrapped around the waist of the costume doing a dirty deed.

would you apologize in writing to your children for raising them in the truth?
i've apologized verbally........ none of them is going to meetings any longer...... my husband and i have been drifting away for several years..... .
i was raised a witness, and thought we were doing the right thing.
Doing so might be a cleansing experience and it might help your kids see you guys are on the same square: I regret , also, raising my kids in The Lie.
